Default Health regeneration

In some videos I saw, I noticed that when you take damage you lose health, but when you no longer take damage, the health meter goes back to where it was when you first got shot. Is it going to be in the game or it's just something the developpers wanted to put so they don't die?

Thats a good question. I sure hope thats how it will be in game because like in halo 2 versus halo 1, it was a lot more enjoyable not having to worry about health packs whenever you are in the middle of a fight. i liked just having to find a safe haven for a few seconds while my shield regenerated.

Well it works like this. When you get hit you lose so much health but if you dont get hit again youo can regain it after X amount of seconds. Yet if you get hit again you lose the chance to gain that health back and lose more health and get another chance to refill it by finding cover. I think its a great system so you get out of a battle like H2 and be perfectly unscathed but i also think its good that you can recharge if you get minor damage.

yeah, its most like the halo 2 version of a health meter. It might take longer to gain your health back, but if it's like H2 its fine by me

Yeah just to let you know that was a observation so dont be so sure that thats how it works i just watched it and (supposedly) figured out how it works, there may be more than that.

Yeah, you're right, so that's why I asked about it. Because I didn't really know how it works so maybe you guys do. But now that YOU explained it to me, I no longer need answers.

i heard it was pretty much like halo 2 health. I do like it better to regen health instead of finding packs. It puts a little more excitment in it trying to hide from there shots because you have no life. It is just more fun like that.

I think a slight health regain would be good. Personally i like halo 2 system in which there pretty much is no health.
