|  Like or hate the new maps?
I haven't played halo 3 for about a good week or 2 and bought the map pack yesterday and personally I want my money back for the maps and halo 3 itself lol Yah... Not really impressed with anything in halo 3 atm First time in awhile I saw more people on halo 2 than on halo 3 on my friends list and I'm probably going to be joining them!
Anyways back to topic

I hate that they take so long to be free 
I like the idea of Foundry being the king of all Forge maps... being able to recreate so many H1 and H2 maps (and apparently GoW maps too) is an awesome idea.

I like them, although Rat's Nest and Standoff are vehicle dominant. They need to adjust some settings on the maps and then it will be good.
I have made some pretty cool maps already on foundry, that was a really good idea on Bungies part.

To be honest with you i like them more than most of the maps that shipped with the game...BUT! I have another problem.... I HATE HALO 3!
Today i basically forever gave up on it. I dont even want to try hardcore out unless they fix the stupid melee system....
So yes i would like my money back not for the maps but for the game! I bought legendary....

I really wish all maps could be forged so openly like Foundry with tons of items and such, it's a shame
but like Charlie said the melee system takes so much away from the game, I hated getting dumb unexplainable deaths in games, and in Halo 3 they explain the unexplainable and it is supposed to be like that...

Wow, I'm glad I didn't spend my money on those maps right now, I figured I would just wait till their free, but isn't it like so ridiculous time away in '08?. I don't know but H3 sucks compared to 1 and 2. I was playing with a whole party in H2 who said H3 blew chunks. I personally can't take the AR start. It's such a dumb weapon.

Foundry is cool, but if you don't have a awesome map to play with it, then it is kinda pointless to have.
Standoff I think would make for some awesome CTF games, but I dont understand why they didnt put a sniper rifle on that level.
Rats Nest is just plain stupid.
Is it worth the $10? No...If you have the money to spend, go for it. | |

Wow, glad I am getting a present for a girl instead of buying the new maps then.
I'll just wait for a while. It's not like it's required to have them like in H2 lol.

If there was a sniper on on Standoff it would control the map and be like every other level where everyone rushes it. Have BR's as the main long range weapon is much nicer in my opinion
Rats Nest..... well yea, I guess it has potential. I love owning people with the hogs though.
PS - I know I will get my $10 worth just out of Foundry
