yeah the ms headsets are crap. i just went out and bought a regular 2.5mm plug headest from panasonic. it works great for me and has mute/volume control as well.
call em' up and say they came broken and they should send u a new one. For some people it works for others it doesnt...U have to give them ur xbox ID number though.
yeah my 360 headset broke in january. i think it's because whenever i took it out i pulled it by the cord and not the volume/mute thingy. oh well. i used my old mic for a while but that broke completely last week. my brother bought a new mike on sundya so hopefully this one doesn't break.
ALL these fucking 360 mics R gay....i feel bad i borrowed my friends mic and i broke it not on purpose but it can only hear from TV...and the other one is prolly cuz i tossed it @ the wall.... but they need to make better mics

The little metal thing that goes into the controller broke off, like feel off when I took the mic out from the controller. The reason maybe me throwing mine controller when I get made, but ohh well I hate these mics anyway and their crap.
i have 2 headsets, one from the premium and one from the 12 month pack
yesterday me and my cousin were playing so we both had headsets, then his headset just stopped receiving the voices but he could still talk
then today all of a sudden the other one stops working but not entirely, sometimes it works but sometimes it doesnt
will M$ replace them even without a warranty?
man my 360 headset has broken allready it stopped working apart from when i tilted the contrller like forwards and down(completly un-able to play like that)
so i decided to re-wire a differant microfone and ear peice into the mute and volume control block
