| SSBB online is lameeeee. Maybe it's worse for me because I'm on DSL, but it's almost unplaying. I get up to a 1.5 second daily no matter who I'm playing against and it just makes it not fun. SSBB itself is amazing though, and when I get better internet I'll post my brawl code so I can play with some of you.

I'm always down to play Castle Crashers. Send a F/R to eExorcist for co-op no matter what level you are. I'll even carry you to the end of the game in a few hours! |

When the connection is good the game plays like your right next to your opponent. When it's bad, well....
I do have to say that the laggy games can be pretty entertaining for a few minutes. I played at my friends house (satellite connection XP) and it was like playing in really slow motion where I got to think out every single move and watch come out matrix style XD

| Okay, here's how Brawl's netcoding works (Exorcist, you might want to read the third and fourth paragraphs):
In Brawl, there is a constant delay on all of the host's controls called input lag. As long as the connection between the host and the other player isn't slower than that input lag, there's no host advantage and the game runs perfectly online, since all network problems can be figured out and resolved before they have to actually be displayed on screen.
But on the other hand, if the lag over the internet is slower than the input lag, the game either a) plays out in slow motion, b) increases the input lag, or c) completely freezes. I'm not sure how the system chooses which of the three should happen, but I've seen all three happen, sometimes more than one at the same time. The game can handle short lag spikes, but if the connection quality is genuinely bad or is latent, it's pretty much unplayable.
Now because latency effects online play so much, distance is a big factor when playing Brawl online. In a shooter like Halo, playing with people all over the country is no big deal, but in Brawl, you have to play with people who live close to you. How close? That depends on your connection and the connection of whoever you're fighting. The easiest way to improve your online connection in Brawl is not to use wireless! Wireless connections are laggy. Period. Nintendo sells wired connection adapters for around $20-$30 (you can probably find them cheaper at Best Buy/Radio Shack), and they're very worth it. |

| Good luck. You'll need it to find a Wii without a reservation. |

| Is there a list somewhere on the internet which shows what tier each character is in? |

| Tiers won't get started until patterns in tournament play start showing up, which will likely be around a year or so from the release date.
