The Super Smash Bros Brawl Thread!

Now that Brawl is out, I'm changing this thread into an index of useful Smash threads here at t360f, as well as a thread for general Brawl discussion.

This thread is also the place to arrange matches/chat during matches on the forums, since Brawl has no text or voice communication online. So post all your random chatter here.

i hope they add something cool to the tourneys like a team 2 on 2 tourney

The game's character choice has become pure bullshit;
Removed Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, Falco, and Ness
Kept Zelda, Ice Climbers, and Peach
Added Sonic, King Dee Dee, Pit, and Diddy Kong.

Personally, I wouldn't add a character like Sonic in the first place. King Dee Dee I just hate. Ridley would of been a better choice over Pit, him either being of the flying class or the heavy class (Meta Ridley w/out wings), Meta Ridley's FSAttack could just be like Samus'; he goes all berserk and destroy everything, then your left with the normal Ridley. And we don't need Diddy Kong anyway. They should atleast have a newer Zelda character if they removed Ganondorf, I'd recommend Zant from Twilight Princess since they can make him have an array of attacks.

Uhm... who ever said that any characters got removed? The Dojo adds updates one day at a time, and a very small percentage of them are character updates (usually once or twice a month). We have nothing near a full roster yet...

FYI, Brawl is going to have 3 non-Nintendo characters, two of which are confirmed at this point.

Cpt Falcon, Falco, and Ness were some of my favorites i doutbt they would remove them...... also i hear Snake from MGS is going to be in the game is this true????

It currently hasn't been updating as often as you said it had been. I checked it two weeks ago and the rosters still the same. That looks like the final list, because there's no way they'll add like 20 more characters for us to learn about before Feb. 10.

And the three non-Nintendo character idea is stupid if you ask me. I think if anything a better character could of been chosen over Sonic.

And there has been on official word or rumor whatsoever that any veteran characters got removed. That's just speculation. For some reason people think that just because they haven't been revealed to the public yet means they've been removed.

Today is the first day they've updated since Christmas.

Why else would they add Lucas and Ike then? They're possibly going to remove one or two veteran fighters.
