Wow I can't believe MLG is getting this much recognition and I think its great they are getting set up with ESPN. Thanks for the info.

IMO gaming is not harder.. sports have somehting video gaming doesnt and thats physical endurance.
But even if you think gaming is harder that still doesn't mean that it should be on a sports station. I mean open heart surgery is hard to do and you dont see those happening on ESPN with live commentary..
But this isn't the first time ESPN put a non sport on their station look at billiards and poker. Sure they take a shit load of skill to be professional at.. but a sport? Nope. But I guess you can't really blame them seeing they are doing this to interest a larger portion of people. Now even the gamers who hate sports because they get beat up by the football team in school will turn to the channel just to watch the almighty WALSHY!!! sweat as he gets the clutch triple on the Pit. And then we will watch him raise the Lombardi Trophy in triumph as him and FB head off to DisneyLand.
To sum it up.
I dont like that its happening.
But I can see why its happening.

How does fishing qualify as a sport? Pulling on a rod that has a 10 pound fish on the other end makes it a sport? So any time an activity that requires you to use a bit of muscle is automatically a sport? I dont know much about fishing or golf so please tell me what makes them more of a sport than taking a dump. lol | |
