| Predictions for MLG Meadowlands. With MLG Meadowlands just a week away, I thought I would give my top 8 predictions for Halo 3. You are welcome to post yours, but please, no flamming.
1. Str8 Rippin - Tsquared, Neighbor, Elamite, Legit, xXx (coach)
Strong showing in the first pro circuit ladder on gamebattles, and they have the best coach on the circuit. They also walked through the online playoffs with ease
2. Final Boss - Walshy, Ogre1, Ogre2, StrongSide
They didn't look to convincing during the beginning of Halo 3 with Ogre1 in Australia, but when they got to lan and played against Triggers Down, they all showed a big improvement. Also MLG is their home turf, so they have something to prove after walking through Halo 2 with the same roster they have now. They also are sporting the top 2 FFA players from CPL, and 2 of the most individually talented players in the game right now (StrongSide and Ogre2)
3. Triggers Down - SK (Halogod), Lowkin, Fearitself, Hysteria
This new lineup has looked promising from the start. Halogod and Fearitself were both top players later in the season, and Hysteria was a feared opponent in the free for all competitions. All three of these players have shown top notch talent in Halo 3, and Lowkin couldn't be a better fit player for them. After LANning against Final Boss, newcomer Lowkin has showed that he can really hang well with some of the top players
4. Bad Company - Cpt Anarchy, Hokum, Soviet, LGD Fox (Bfox)
Veteran player Cpt Anarchy has teamed up with some more recent pros Hokum and Soviet, as well as an old school Halo/Halo 2 pro Bfox. Bfox hasn't been on the scene since the beginning of Halo 2, but he has showed the same talent carried over to Halo 3. This roster can definitely break into top 3 with practice, but I just think that the other three teams are just too good to not put on top. Bad Company is definitely in the running for a strong placing, and I have confidence in them to break top 3 in later events.
5. TnB - Victory, Mackeo, Roy, Lunchbox
Former Team Agency members Victory and Mackeo joined with the twins from 5K Roy and Lunchbox. This roster definitely has a lot to prove to their former teammates who are also on top teams. It will be their chance to prove that they can compete with the top teams.
6. Team Classic - Legend, Soldier, Fear, Ant
It was hard for me to really gauge this team as they haven't really proven themselves on LAN as much as the other top teams. This is strictly judging from their online performance, and they could place much higher. I just can't put them any higher then the 6th place spot because I haven't seen them prove themselves offline, although it is obvious that they all have individual talent as well as good teamwork together. They will definitely be looking to make a mark for other new teams on the circuit.
7. Fatal Images - Severince, Wooly, Tizoxic, Naded
Again, hard for me to judge as they are a new team. With Halo 2 veteran naded, it doesn't look like they will place outside of top 8. They have also had some strong showings against top teams such as Str8 Rippin and Team Classic so I don't think they will have any problem making their mark as a team to beat early on. All of these players are great players and it shouldn't be a problem for them at all. If they don't break into top 8 at the first event, they should definitely be a team to look out for at later events. But I still don't see them placing anywhere outside of top 8-12 in Meadowlands.
8. CarboN - Gandhi, Karma, Shockwave, Ghostayame
It's hard for me to even put them in top 8 to be honest. I would much rather put an XBL all star team on here because of CarboN's weak performances over XBL. However, being a returning top team, I think they will put a lot of practice in to show that they can still compete on such a high level of competition. This will be a new playing field, and without Coach xXx backing them up, and their lack of talent transfering from Halo 2 (with the exception of Shockwave, and maybe 1 more member) they will have to work REALLY hard for this spot. I think they can do it, but if they don't put in the time and practice they need for the remaining 3 days, the 8th spot can easily slip into a newer teams hands.
Expect to see professional Shadowrun player Oldbie (team PURE) to make his mark on the Halo 3 pro circuit as well. After proving on lan that he can compete with top players, and already proving that he can compete on teams with players like Xtremist, I wouldn't be surprised if his team breaks into top 12-16 during the first event with practice.

| Final Boss is a good team, but I don't see Str8 placing anything lower then an easy first place. Maybe in the 2nd event.

| First off nice post Ex but here are my predictions.
1. Str8- Obviously some of the best chemistry of any team out there and have sick players.
2. Bad Company- I am a hokum fan and I think this team will tear the competition with the addition of Soviet.
3. Final Boss- MLG veterans and a team full of smart players.
4. Triggers Down- Lowkin has been a sick player through all of halo 3, along with fearitself and hysteria who have sick individual talent.
5. TnB- 4 returners who played an important role on their teams last year. I expect them to do well.
6. Fatal Images- Naded is beast all you need to know
7. Carbon- Have lots of heart
8. Team Classic- Proved themselves online

| I agree that Carbon has lots of heart, after they've lost. I think that after doing bad on XBL, they're really going to step it up as a team and do well. That's how they beat FB/3D in the past. |

| I honestly can't see Carbon placing anything higher then 8th. They don't seem to click as well in H3 as they obviously did in H2. |

| Im gonna try and throw some upsets in there.
1)Str8-Amazing all-round team. All the pieces are there.
2)Triggers Down-Lowkin is a smart team player. SK,Fearitself, and hysteria are all good too. They have teamwork too.
3)Final Boss-I cant have them lower then three with strongside and ogre 2 on there team.
4)TnB-Proved themselves online....and they have a pretty good roster.
5)Team Classic-Yes im putting them over bad company. Why? Because.
6)Bad Company-Why so low? Hokum eats too much rice and gets bloated....im calling it.
7)Carbon-Im just saying this just because of experience. Maybe other teams will choke in the moment. Either they can place really well....or completely blow it. Hard to tell.
8)Believe the Hype-Just because.
