yo, there are rumors all over the place about MLG for PDR, but i'm not really sure about it. I wouldn't see why they wouldn't

i have not heard any official information about MLG having perfect dark as one of their competition games, but if the game is popular enough, which it should be, they shouldn't have too difficult of a time deciding that it will be. i think that next season should be good enough to hold people over until halo 3 comes out and they start using that game.

Well PDZ has to be tournament material. Like it has to be balanced, and easy to play but hard to master.

If PDZ becomes the Largly-played game everyone says its gonna be then im sure MLGs gonna tap into it.

As an MLG player, I will tell you this: MLG has refused to make mention one way or the other on this matter. There are several hypotheses why:

• They want to play the game and see how competitive it is
• It would cost a ton of money to buy enough X-Box 360s to make it worthwhile
• Halo 2 is still a very 'popular' game for people to play
• They are possibly developing their own game, though they will say nothing on this either

As far as I know MLG is definately keeping Halo 2 for the 2006 season. Halo 3 should come out around spring so if they don't add PDZ for 06 then I see them not adding it at all. Unless it is a truly remarkable game and Halo 3 sucks, then hey I think they should add PDZ.

Okay, well thanks for helping me understand a little more.. i was a little confused haha.... hopefully it is a well balanced game and everything like you can hold two sides and all... and equal amount of weapons for each team... like i dunnno i have not a clue on what the games multiplayer will be like haha, but man.... i LLLLOOOVVVEEEE coming up with stats for halo 2... hopefully this game will be somewhat like halo 2 in the multiplayer.. but yeah. i hope they get it in MLG and everything, it would be fun to get good at it... rape some people and get money for it..

I SERIOUSLY doubt that MLG is developing their own game. first of all they are not even developers, they just host tournaments. second, what would the game be about? you play a spectator at an MLG tourney and you try to build up respect points until you finally become popular enough to gain access to hang out with the pros. DOUBT IT. that sounds pretty much like the most outlandish think i have heard in my entire life.

but hey...ashley simpson got a second album i guess anything can happen.

ROFLMAO! I dont understand why MLG would make a game, they adop other developers games not make their own. Although it would be cool to see the perfect FPS come from a tournament league.
