One thing I really noticed was the types of new weapons they showed. Most games will show big explosions and crazy weapons in their trailers, but they showed what are essentially two very tactical weapons. I like that. It shows that this game may prove to be more competitive on a serious level than the first.
On a side note, CliffyB is the man.

I love the look of it. I am glad they decided to change the lancer up a bit with less ammo. That pistol tho was interesting and i cant wait to break a locust neck whether its in SP or MP

Game looks amazing considering I never played the first Gears. Was thinking of picking up Gears 1 next week but its still $59.99 and UT3 comes to Xbox 360 soon....oh the choices.

That would suck if they did replace the curb stomp, but at the same time the move was about as useful as the chainsaw... if they did replace it, at least it's with a move that allows you to move. | |

I know when i first got it i was like to my buddy's hey you have to get this game you can chainsaw and curb stomp people! So it's kind of a highlight as far as gameplay goes IMO. I'm not worried i think it will be in the game. We will just see it debut in MP thats all  .

I won't really mind if they have to sacrifice one of them to add a new one, but I'd rather they would just assign two buttons for executions, or maybe more... | |
