I have never really understood all the midnight launch hype, someone should explain it to me. Is it due to the stores around you be limited on copies or you just can't wait the extra 8 hours. Where I live no matter what game it is, I can wake up the same day and just stroll into the stores and pickup a copy. No need for pre orders and such, also I will be playing while half of you are sleeping off your midnight playing frenzy. I don't know i'm just curious, inform me!

I like going to the launch partys personally because they always give away free shit. I know they are giving away 15 RARE GTA:IV faceplates which you can't get anywhere but a launch party. I mean I'm going to be up anyways with nothing to do so why not?

It usually comes from wanting to be one of the first to play or have something. A lot of people who pick games up on day 1 or at midnight like playing something while it's new and hot. Everyone likes to have the newest and hottest tech. | |

Still trying to decide if I am or not. I got class the tomorrow pretty early and I don't want to get back to my house and not be able to play it all nite. So I am still undecided, but i will prolly do it.

I've decided I'm going to go get it at midnite. Why not? God this is going to be great. I just hope its not as crowded as it was for GoW and H3. Rickdickulous. Too bad I can't miss any more of my tuesday/thursday classes, its the last week anyway, or I would stay up literally all night and play.
