GTA4, What Do You Think?

I got GTAIV the day it came out. Loved it off the bat. Unfortunately it lacks the dimension of the last 2 installments. I was blown away by the graphics but even more by the new physics. But by the time I really was getting into the missions it was over(bout 3 days in), and there was a lot missing. "Not a single fixed wing aircraft to fly.....

" Very limited compared to earlier games. Much less cars, can't buy any property, much less side-missions mini-games were things like pool and bowling.... (if i wanted that I'd play yahoo pool, ext....) Only 3 clothing stores with a very limited range of outfits, no learning new fighting styles, or changing your build at the gym. Can't get tattoos or or even a hair cut. Don't get me wrong the story was great and fulfilling. If I were to rate this game id give it a 8.5/10 After doing so much in the last two games it seemed unfinished but very polished....

I loved it for 2 days then got bored and went back to h3. =/

It didn't quite have the charm Vice City or San Andres did.

VC and H2 > all games out there.

I think this game was supposed to be a little more story-driven and a little less sandbox than the others. I think that's why they took alot of the customization away.

All the things that you listed, I don't care much about...

In the other one's I barely did anything of those. I do however wish I could parachute/base jump.

But other then that, I think it has been the best in the series.

Yeah I miss the customization of cars and ability to by properties, don't ask me why but I really enjoyed buying them houses.

Funny that you mention this because I never even finished the game. It's not like I hate the game, but i just haven't really felt the desire to finish it. First day I got it I played it for like 4 hours straight because I had nothing to do and then I played it for like 2 hours the next day. Then never played it again.

too bad the story got old...I still haven't beaten it. I have like 7 more missions to go and I can't seem to put it in the tray.

I think I've only done 7 missions. I got bored realllly quickly.

I still really like it. Like you said the physics and graphics in the game are really amazing. The story is still good for me because I'm only about 50% done because I've been taking it slow. I just fixed my NAT and now I can finally play GTA:IV online and I really like racing and Team Deathmatch (without auto aim). It's about the only 2 gametypes of played but I will probably play more. I really like it and I know once I beat the story I'm still gonna play the multiplayer.

I would give this game a 9/10.
