The Pieces are Coming Together. Over the past few days, there have been rumors that a new Halo game will be announced at next week's E3 and today we have enough clues to believe the rumors are indeed true. First, Kotaku discovered that in Bungie's latest podcast, Brian Jarrard and Luke Smith teased about something being revealed at E3.
Brian: Isn't there something going on on July 14th or something like that?
Luke: Yeah, around then.
Brian: Somehow that's sticking in my head for some reason. Guess we'll have to see.
Luke: Yep, we'll just have to be patient. Who could say?
Furthermore, the I Love Bees web site has resurfaced today, leading us to believe that there's definitely something going on.

It's probably a new Marathon game, if you've seen the Legendary ending of H3 then you know what I mean.

yeah I would really like to see something different and recent from bungie. Even though people really bash halo b/c it isn't what it was, its a good game with a lot of good features like replays, lobbies, forging, and awesome stat tracking. No other game offers all this in one package and I would really like to see what they could do when not strapped down by microsoft to make another halo. | |

I'm pretty sure too that anything Halo related can be created by other companies now since Halo doesn't belong to Bungie entirely anymore I think just the story does with the chracters but the franchise is Microsofts and they can just get another company to take on the Halo challenge kinda like they are doing with Halo Wars. All I know is I hope the game isn't basically another Halo (Marathon) They should create something different something original.

Halo 2 > Halo 3 > Halo 1 > UT3 > GoW 2

also why would they go away from the halo story line when they still have so much more story to tell? | |

I don't know what it could be, but I bet it's a marathon game too.
