the game is brilliant.
I have some Tactics
Sorry If you guys knew these.

Special Ops: Bridge Too Far/any map
Get to the main enemy base
(the one you cannot capture that they always spawn at)
plant C4 on the helicopter
(wait until the coast is clear)
Blow the C4 when the chopper has 3 or 4 enemies inside
(either in the air or on the helipad)

Engineer Backstab only
Go to the buliding where the artillery strike is.
Plant some mines on the road around the corner.
You can reload with the ammo pickup FROM OUTSIDE THE BUILDING
(just walk to the corner)
plant more mines.
go onto the first floor level of the artillery strike building.
use rockets to pick off vehicles coming from the enemy base, if you miss any vehicles, they will almost certainly hit one of your mines.

Stop And Swap:
Get into a vehicle (with a turret) on your own at your main spawn base, head to an enemy infested area or an enemy flag, when you reach a nice spot with lots of enemies around, pull to a stop real quick and swap to the turret position, you can pwn the bad guys near you and contest a flag.
The downside to this is that one of the bad guys near you may be a spec ops or an engineer, in which case you better get them quick before they get you with their explosive nasties.

Special Ops: Car Bomb: Bailing
Try bailing out of a car rigged with 4 C4 when its pushing top speed aimed at a bunch of bad guys or a tank or even a group of bad guys trying to take a flag. Great fun.

Sniper: Any Map: Thanks to Te Master
Tactic: MOVE after you kill someone after all after you kill it shows the enemy where you are.

Conquest: Thanks to Konig bohne
IF I ever play Conquest heres what I do,
1. Only play Backstab
2. Only be Americans
3. Rush Flag 6? I think it is. (closest one to the American spawn)
4. Get in the American 30mm and camp the Artillary Strike and shoot down any choppers with the 30mm's GTAM.
5. Occassionaly move down the street, killing a couple enemies, then returning to the Artillary Strike.
Thats what I do, works nicely. Although I usually just play CTF....

Thanks to everyone for the replies to this post, I will continue to add to it if, as and when more tactics are posted. as I see it, it's gotta be good to share these kind of ideas, right?

to b honest i dont see these as "tactics" just nooby C4 camping the whole perpose of conquest is the territories

so tactics would b ways to get terratories not camp at the teams base the whole game witch in my opinion is boring as hell

planting C-4 on the helicopters is so much fun to do. actually planting c-4 on any occupied vehicle and blowing it to hell brings a smile to my face each and every time!

This game doesn't allow much for individual tactics. It is what your team decides to do that matters.

That said, general rule of thumb, DONT roll with the mass of your team. It is like a flowing river of troops for a camper. Be the one who takes initiative and goes the alternate root and puts themselves in 1v1 situations and you'll be the best player in any game AND will make the biggest difference for your team.

Hex, I see the object of this game to be whatever I want it to be, within the confines of scoring points of course. Owning the flags is obviously one of the most fundamental game winning procedures.

But it is also undeniably fun to focus on kill points. And fun to find inventive, creative ways to do it. Such as bailing out of a car rigged with 4 C4 when its pushing top speed aimed at a bunch of bad guys or a tank or evn a group of bad guys trying to take a flag (hows that for your flag winning tactics?)
