|  If u watched the halo3 trailor u must here this!
if u watch the halo3 trailor over and if u listen carefully i know a secret that bungie imprinted into that trailor that no one knows about.
Halo2 History
If u remember when u were fighting the flood on the second halo ring and u were knocked into the water by an explosion and u dived into the deep waters of halo. Once down there u remember that big great green monster that said he was the keeper of halo?
His voice was deep and monsterlike right?
Also if u remember at the end of halo2's campaign Master Chief left cortana behind while he boarded the Covenant mother ship?
Also if u continue to watch through all the credits at the end of halo2 cortana and that huge green monster like creature begin to speak to one another?
Okay knowing that
watch the trailor again and listen closely to cortana's voice when she speaks.
You can hear his voice tie in with hers!!!!!
A huge twist to halo3's storyline.
Watch it again if u want to tell me other wise.
srry if anyone else already said this but i was so excited when i figured this out.

I think her speaking with Gravemmind for so long has made her start to become like him.
Gavemind always talked like she does in the trailer aswell. "I know your past, your present, your future"
Sounds like Gavemind talking through Cortana.

No offence but I noticed this instanly. I thought it was obivious that something was up. I woudent jump to any conclusions and say that she's being controlled by gravemind through.
Rememebr at the end of halo 2, Gravemind looked like he was talking to her, not trying to take control of her. And she didn't seem the least bit worried.
but meh you never know.
Oh a cool bit of info, when she says "I am yoru shield, I am your sword" she was actually named after the curtana the legenday Sword of Mercy.
Edit: Also when she says "this is how the world ends", thats one of the lines from the Cortana letters (Halo 1's version of ilovebees.com)
