Well you do have some true points there, but some can be solved.
Remember, it's the year 2020, so dataDyne can be developing the next big combat weapon with pure energy, thus having the Plasma Rifle.
The Psychosis, in my point of view, is "the needle of the future", this meaning it's used to inject a poisonous material in your body which gives you a concussion, thus making your screen blurry and kinda making you look dizzy).
I'm not to sure about the Shockwave though, which does seem kinda farfect'd gun.
And some of the secondary fire does seem unrealistic, but if you think about it, it could actually happen in the future.
