Duck, and practice aiming for the head, and keep the silencer on unless its a FFA.

Link pretty much sums it up but it takes LOTS of practice and if your doin erad and your opponent sees you and you know the otha team is good, and he's close, take teh silencer off. its stronger, a little less accurate but their closer, and hes likely gonna tell his team anyway.

when you have your silencer on, you dont show up on the radar...thats the point of using it, plus its more accurate.
EDIT: im not too good at the game but from what ive heard its better to crouch strafe (i think thats what its called) than to roll.

Crouch spamming works great, but mix a roll in there and mix up directions not only left right but backwards and forwards as well and you'll live longer.
Burst with your gun, aim at the head, don't bother with the body unless you're using the FAC (In which case it is body to take out armor, grenade to kill). Or dual CMP's can be delivered the body if you want to be cheap :P

But I'd suggest to follow everything everybody said. Also set your crouch to hold, that way you can do the wave while dodging bullets, that should keep you alive for an extra minute (but don't do it constantly).

if u take ur silencer off in a ffa, it dont matter, but if its on when its a team game, then its good
