 Hitman Blood Money
Well i have noticed that most of the forum talk is about PDZ since there isnt many great games out at the moment to play. Well i thought i would post my friends review to kind of convince and give people a feel of Hitman Blood Money.
Silent Assassin strikes again. Police Suspect blood money involved.
The blood still trickled from the golden jacket, but with the increasing red light blinding me like the calling of hell, I ignored it. In a place where this liquid was an omnipresent theme, I was overcome with a feeling of confidence even while carrying the huge metal case containing the Dragunov sniper rifle. The guards misguidedly treated me with respect despite the fact that my hellish mask was crooked. After what appeared like hours of walking, the figure of who looked like Lucifer’s bride emerged before me. It was her, Vaana Ketlyn, the target. She took a deep breath and with the most innocent voice greeted and invited me to her office; an empty room with a red carpet, a single chair that looked more like a throne and the illusion of tortured souls gliding against the gargoyle covered walls. With her sword at waist, she sat and demanded to see my face. I refused. She asked again with an angry voice for me to take off my mask. What she saw left her breathless. The smoke calmingly rushed to the heavens and her carpet became redder. I walked slowly towards the exit without looking back.

GAMEPLAY:
Being a fan of the hitman games, I was looking forward for this game since its announcement. The gameplay of HBM on the Xbox 360 is easy and doesn’t get time to get used to. Using everything was never truer since you can use practically anything to incapacitate your enemies. From fire extinguishers to hammers moving on to the guns, HBM is sure to satisfy your cruel fantasies. Unfortunately, the minigun was taken out for some reason.
47 now has new and better methods like hiding bodies in containers or garbage trucks, disarming an opponent, pushing someone off a railing to pretend it was an accident or suicide, throwing knives, using human shields and the list goes on.
Thankfully, the money system is back. Depending on how well you perform in a mission, you get a certain amount of money. A mass murdered doesn’t make as much as a silent assassin. With this money you can customize or upgrade your weapons, bribe witnesses, cops or buy a new identity for yourself. The added feature of a newspaper delivering the news on your latest hit is also very cool. Titles like “Specialist kills 3” to “Terrorist kills 42” along with some comical lines within the article.
There are also 2 alternate endings and the story itself is pretty good with cool plot twists.
The AI also got an extra brain so NPC are smarter than in the previous ones but they still make mistakes…hey we all do. They will react if they see your suit is covered in blood or if a gun is laying on the ground, etc.
GRAPHICS:
The graphics are by far the best in any hitman game so far. Maybe not as good as condemned or F.E.A.R. they are still very nice and detailed. The cinematic graphics are beautiful and the game itself is very gory, graphic and definitely deserves its 17+ rating. Blood is a key factor in the game since it has a gameplay and esthetic role.
AUDIO:
The sound is probably the best part of the game. The music by Jesper Kyd is, in my opinion, better than Halo. The music in HBM is dynamic, meaning it changes throughout the game to fit a particular situation. Such as when you are about to enter a fight it changes drastically to a more action oriented theme, and when you are sneaking behind an enemy, you hear this low and calm song that feels like it's telling you, "This is your target's last breath." The sound effects of the weapons makes you feel like you are actually holding the gun in your hands in your room, and when you shoot someone, watching them suffer and crying on the floor before you put a bullet through their head is a delight to hear and is sadistically satisfying. The voice acting is better than ever as well. 47's low voice is amazing and fits him appropriately. The different languages used in the game are also very clear and funny to listen to when you understand what they are saying. I remember this part of the game where I was fighting French cops and they kept screaming "Arrêtez-le, merde!" which means "Stop him, shit!". I was pleased to see that the lip synching was synchronized with the in-game sequences unlike Contracts.
