One of the most annoying things about playing PDZ online ranked is the stupid fact that u can't choose teams! that annoys the hell out of me! Because i would love to play ranked and get on the leaderboards but in team games the teams are never fair. cuz the ppl who create team games ranked have a ranking of like 30 and up. and then its like 8 on 1. U should be able to choose teams. that would make it alot better. Also, why the hell does no one play ranked? whats up with that

i was actually asking why no one plays ranked games like killcount and infection, none team games. i can never find ranked killcount either and those are non team games. every now and then i find like 2 or 3. by bad guess i should have been a little more specific.

Oh I see, well if people are still playing non-ranked matches and there isn't a problem finding those kind of matches, then I wouldn't be too worried about it. Ranked matches aren't all that important, plus non-ranked matches can be funner because people are more focused on playing to have fun other than just doing whatever they can to win and other problems (ie. camping, arguing over losses, etc.).

But as to why they don't play ranked matches, I guess it's just funner to play with your friends in an organized game rather than the whole random thing.

It is just silly not to have even numbers of players on each team in ranked games. If Rare doesn't fix this with an autoupdate people will soon move on to other games. It still baffles me that they didn't realise how their team selection in ranked games ruins the entire multiplayer experience when they were testing it. I won't even mention the fact that you can't invite friends into a party to play ranked games together, oops I guess I did! Most gamers play ranked games because it gives you a purpose. You try to get better so you can win and improve your rank. Rare dropped the ball on the multiplayer aspect of this game and when it comes to ranked multiplayer they drop kicked the ball off a cliff.

I do think a little more balanced teams would be better, but this will be fixed by itself if the community gets bigger, because then there will be:

a) More people in MM, doing ranked.
b) More people in each level group, which means when they enter Quick Deathmatch there will be games of level 25's which you'd join into and it would have even teams.

There already are quite a few players doing Ranked Killcount, you just have to make the room yourself every now and then.

I personally would play custom matches over matchmaking anyday, also when more people get the game there will be less unfair matches.
