COD2: The Camping Game

i used to hate COD2 when my friend had it, then recently i played the demo and loved it, then i rented the game and played some MP and it is about 90% campers, wtf?!? i am still a noob, but im not bad, and there is just way too much camping in this game, maybe its b/c there arent many players, 4v4 is the most, i still like COD2 but the camping kinda ruins it, well that plus the lag-adelic gameplay, lol, COD2 is still a great game, i just hate that almost everyone snipes and camps, o well hopefully COD3 will be different since its 12v12 and has vehicles and a bunch of other new features
COD2 is one of my favorite games but i think lots of ppl can agree, if u want to win u gotta camp the hell outta of it, but i am sure COD3 will be wayyyyy better

btw no offense to the campers, everyone has to camp sometimes but i just hate the everyone camps ALL the time

its really just the people you play with like when i play with guys from the forum none of them camp unless there sniping but really its just who you get stuck playing with

well thats possible, but i played with a bunch of different ppl and and lots of them camp, especially if its 2v2 or 3v3, o well since the max is 4v4 there will always be campers, i just get annoyed b/c there are so many campers so often, o well COD3 will get better!

I heard that CoD2 was a 'campers' game from alot of people, thats the only reason I never bothered buying it.

well thats just kind how it is, its still really fun, but there are too many campers and snipers that get annoying, but after playing some COD2( i rented it ) i understand that sometimes u need to camp a lil more than usual but in DM if u wanna win u have to be a sniper, b/c EVERYONE is a sniper, a camper or both! lol

COD2 is still a good game, but it will all change with COD3

Im proud to say im one of the few who does not camp. I hate camping. Its boring. Sure ill camp a certain area if its a serious game (holding down a location) but i would never stand still in one spot.

lmfao for how long did u play the game bcoz i rarely play with people camping and rarely have this lag issue ur on about anymore (after he patch) and im in the UK.

personally i dnt camp and the way i play i dnt let other people camp eather bcox there respawning all the time

i never camp unless i dont feel like runing around. what i do is i run from cover to cover with my sniper. try to get behind the enemy and shoot them in the back. i really never camp. i do sum times but 95% of the game i runing around. and it also has to do with the map to

COD2 is still a good game, but it will all change with COD3

lol, have you tried prey? thats a game that will almost never have any camping (unless someone doesnt know the controls or is afk). if you havent tried it out yet, you should if you like fps. it is a quite fast moving game though.

The only time when I camp, which rarely happens, is when I know I'm in a good spot to pick off guys and get them without them seeing me. I mean yeah I do camp, but it only happens here and there.
