Saints Row demo?

Has anyone else heard about the demo being available at Toys R Us? and if anyone has it already and u have a cap card could u record some of it

Nah man I havent heard anything about a demo at Toy R us. To tell you the truth thats the last place I would think of something like that being there. But if somebody would of had it they would of said something by now so....

The only thing I know is that the demo is supposebly dated on August 29.

That's actually when the game is suppose to be released, from LAOS' point of view. But yeah, don't expect Toys R Us to have any demos of games that are coming out, Toys is only good for getting your game when Gamestop and EBGames are crowded.

Ya if you preorder the game you get a demo disc. I hear its only at Toys R US though. I'm going to get mine soon

Meh I still dont think the game is even worth getting. I mean it sorda looks bad and idk. Its just a wanna-be GTA. Im just going to wait for GTA.

some guys impressions:

"When you finally play the game you will realize that what you just said is wrong. The world is perfect. The lighting, reflections, people, everything is right. Trust me.

"The demo is amazing. No online for the demo, and there is a border on the world just for the demo. It's still a big enough area to realize how awesome this game is though.

This games OWNS.

I normally dont gush like this, but god damn it's great. I havent even touched the missions yet. The free roam/sand box stuff is just what I wanted. Anyone who dug GTA will love this game.

I just bailed out of my car that was going up in flames, and it hit this other car with two people in it. It smashed into their car and they both burned to death trying to crawl out of the wreckage.

Also, the town people and all of the drivers all have unique personalties. I was cruisin around looking for trouble, and I saw this little ricer car running around. I'm like, oh you little bastard, you're mine. I did a u turn and chased his ass down. I smashed the **** out of his back end and he was pissed! He's like, what the **** did you do to my car?? He busted out his gun and chased me down in his ride. I got out and beat the crap out of him, took his gun and his little Fast and the Furious ride. People around us were tripping out like, AHHHHHHH call 911!!!

I love this game already.

The physics alone are leaps and bounds better than anything you've seen on GTA.

* Physics, wow the physics own. When you hit people, they ****ing fly through anything and everything in front of them. They don't slow your car down like you just ran into a ball of blubber. The people get hit and man do they fly lol! The ragdoll is fantastic. This is what GTA was missing. That and the crashes/destruction is awesome! When you hit someone head on, they fly right through the windshield!!! Oh man I have wanted that in a game for soo long. (Flatout doesnt count)

* The in game graphics are pretty good, there is some slowdown and chugging though. I just hope this will be fixed for the full version.

* Graphics during the cut scenes are a bit iffy, with slow down and some screen tearing. Hopefully this will be fixed with the full version. Very good voice over work and lip synchronization.

* When you first start running around, the guy looks like he has pooh in his pants as he runs. Sort of wonky, but we'll probably have to get used to it, same with jumping.

* Very profane. Lots of cursing and gunfire/gang violence right when you start. It's cool though. It's like a movie."
