Default Question about in-game play

Ok so i was wondering how you talk to your teammates. Do you press a button to talk to your team only? And can the other team hear you when you speak into the mic without pressing a button? Also i wanted to kno, why dont i ever see anybody throw grenades? Aren't there grenades in the multiplayer? If there isnt then that sucks ass! I still havent seen a video with someone throwing a nade and killing someone. Thanx

You don't have to press a button to talk to the other team, and the other team can't hear you in game (ie. proximity talk like in Halo 2).

There are grenades, but it's nothing like Halo 2, if that's what you're asking. Now you have to switch to grenades (like you would switch to a different weapon) or you can dual wield it with a pistol or something. From what I've seen, the grenades just aren't that worth it in this game. But I have seen people using them, just not often.

Hope that helps.

Grenades are an important part of FPSes... HALO, HALO 2, Counter Strike, they all rely heavily on grenades. It's a shame, because nothing is more fun that blowing up four or five campers with a well placed Grenade.

PDZ has proxy mines. It is called a multimine. Right trigger throws a proxy mine and right bumper button(or whatever it is called) throws a remote mine(in which you activate it with left trigger)

Yeah I actually use mines quite aggressively sometimes like you would use grenades in Halo 2. I just run around with my mines out and when I see an enemy I throw mines at and in front of him. It works well, but you run out soon so you can usually only get a couple kills before you run out. Also someone correct me if I'm wrong but the multimines are only available in darkops gametypes.

You can teabag faster in PDZ than in Halo 2, but not as fast as Halo 1. Teabagging in Halo 1 was the ultimate insult to a dead foe. Sorry went off-topic for a second. No proximity voice in PDZ, just team chat and no need to press a button.

I think that the best solution for someone who wants to blow shit up is sticking with the guns that have grenade launcher secondary's i.e. the FAC-16 and the Superdragon. The proxy mines work well too especially if you have them and the Jackal, just place a few of those around to keep people from sneaking up on you.

yea the gameplay is totally different than halo or any other fps. It relys heavily on strategies and accuracy but less on skill.
