|  |Prey| patch for XBL is out.
They fixed all the bugs.
the LAG....
They did the best they can. When tested on an average connection as host it works like it should. If it lags for you, and you are the host, don't host. The lag depends on the host's connection. They really should put in a ping meter or something.
Now I can blow the dust off this bad boy.
EDIT: I tested with 8 people. This is a description of what the patch fixes.- A number of small (mainly sound) issues which were fixed in the week or so after the released 360 version was submitted.
- Load/Save Ambient Music disappearing
- Centurion Gun sound problem
- Crawler Defaulting
- Texture Corruption
- 16:9 hud fixes
- Quit out of ranked match early exploit fix
- Improved Match searches
- Mutiplayer lag issues. From Venom on the issue: "We have dropped the requirment as much as physically possible without a complete rewrite... this enabled us to host 6 players on a 256k upstream (whereas before we could only host 2-3)".

Good stuff. Maybe this will be like CoD for me. When they fixed the lag and the bugs i ended up loving it. I dont have prey but ive played it over my buddys a few times. Maybe ill rent it now.

yah i got the patch it really did fix the lag which was awesome. I like the game alot. The single player is a friggin amazing mix of puzzles, horror, and carnage. The multiplayer...I dunno wall jumping u really gotta get use to...

Pretty much the multipplayer sucks like mad in this game. Comes down to who has the rocket or whatever. The engine of it is horrible.

It is a sci fi shooter. My weapon of choice is the acid gun for close combat and the leech gun for longer. The sniper is very balanced, but all the weapons serve a purpose, and now that they finally patched the lag and sound errors, I hope people don't take your opinion to heart unless they don't like quake type games when it comes to giving this game the 2nd chance it deserves.
