i agree 100% with irken on this one. i wouldnt let my daughter play this game if she were your age either. i think that this game has too much "adult content" for someone your age. to be honest, i dont think i would let daughter have this game until she was 16-17, but thats my opinion because of all the sexual/degrading inuendo....

save your money and get CoD in another month and a half!

I agree with you to some extent. But I thought I was the only person so I didn't want to say anything.

If you mom doesn’t think you should be playing it because of your age you should accept it or try to show her that you feel your mature enough. But don’t try to fool her or make the game seem like something it’s not.

the ratings are there for a reason man, how annoying do u find it when u play wtih a 5 year old kid in halo 2, pisses the shit outta u doesn't it?

same story here, theres too much violence and such for a kid your age, too degrading for women, and if people think that this affects u in anyway, that part is true.

I really don't think age makes a difference, it really just depends on the person and how mature they are. Hell I know 14 year olds that are way more mature then some 18 year olds at my school.

It depends on the maturity of the person. And if his parents don't think he's ready to be playign games like that, maybe he shoudent.


EDIT: Anyway, he said convince, not "fool". If you can be honest and aren't influenced by the material in a negative way, go for it. If not, yeah, wait for another game.

Show her what it is about...and if she thinks you arent mature enough.....OBEY HER. She is your guardian....she probably pays for a bunch of your stuff too....dont argue with her. I am legally an adult(being 19 years old) but since i am under my parents roof...i do what they say.

I myself dont even want to get this game. Because i try not to surround myself with adult and mature content.

Dude at 13 I have my limits to the thing is that all you have to do is get other M games. I mean once your parents see that they aren't that bad that will open the door up to new games.
