GoW 5 Days Early?

Well I went to an Eb Games stoe at the mall and they asked me if I was getting GoW. I said no but they told me whoever reserves it gets it on midnight of the 7th, they said their getting it early. I reserved it so hopefully I get it on the 7th or on the 8th?

Its the same everywhere. As long as you reserve it somewhere you will get it on the 7th.

I thought emergence day was the release but its not its just for the tourney and all the downloads.

That about sums it up, but I don't really see why yu have to reserve it to get it on the 7th or 8th (I'll hopefully get a job at Toys R Us and reserve it there, that's where I get all my games at (that and Best Buy). And since when did a game ever get released on a Sunday? Sundays are about the least busiest days, so if it did come out I doubt people would be rushing to get it (due to church and family get togethers after church).

i wonder if places like target will release it early like they did sr. but it all depends on when they ship it. which probally wont b till teh 6th

Yes yes very true.... :'( so if it does come out on a sunday chances are that i might not even get to go and get it cuz of church and stuff

Well it applies if your religious and what not. Sure some people won't go to church to get it, but all the hard on religious people who want the game would have to go to church, then get it. And there's what I applied about games being released, there's always a reason people get payed the way they do, so they can get what they need (someone gets paid on Monday and has money for the whole week, which helps them buy the game the next day it gets released, and that's why movies also get released during the end of the week instead of the beginning, stuff like that).

O no, stores will have the game probably next week...that's my guess at least. A game this big will not ship the day before, as most stores will have multiple boxes of this game in stock. So there is really no reason to reserve it either.

And it comes out the 8th everywhere...not this bullshit if you reserve it...that's how Gamestop/EB make their money, by lieing to the consumer.
