| Splinter Cell DA :: Quick Question (Please Help) Hey, I was looking into getting Splinter Cell DA. Although I only have the regular Xbox and not a 360. Now I have a question if anyone could answer it that would be great.
1) I have read places that the DA version for the 360 and the DA version for the XBX differ in the multiplayer portion and will not link on XBL? Apparently 360 has Spy vs. Merc but the XBX version changed and went to Spy vs. Spy or something? Is this true?
-Thanks |

| Ok apparently, this is what i've heard:
1. Reg Xbox has Spy vs. Spy
2. 360 has spy vs. Mercs
I guess they would not link together over live? |

| Yea you cant play 360 title with current gen title, however you can play halo 2 360-currentgen.
But i dont see how Spy vs. Spy would even make sense

| OK, yeah...So the 360 and the XBX versions of the game do not link over live? Thats what I thought.
And I dont know but I read at gamespot.com it says "People will miss the Spy vs. Merc gameplay and then it says something about Spy vs. Spy. I'll find the link http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/...l4/review.html
Look at...The-Bad
"fans may miss the old spies-versus-mercenaries multiplayer, which is gone here. "
And on the 2nd page
"The competitive multiplayer mode in the Xbox and PS2 versions of Double Agent is a surprising departure from the innovative but rather complicated spies-versus-mercenaries mode introduced two years ago. Namely, it's not spies-versus-mercenaries anymore, but just spies-versus-spies in a battle between Third Echelon and a rival organization, Upsilon. This is inherently somewhat disappointing, since the way in which the previous games--and the Xbox 360 version of Double Agent--pitted fast-moving spies against heavily armed mercenaries was truly unique. For better or worse, the multiplayer now feels more familiar and faster paced. Though the spies play a lot like Fisher from the solo missions, they've got some of their own moves. And unlike the 360 version's multiplayer spies, these guys all pack assault rifles, so they can fight just fine. One particularly interesting twist to this new multiplayer game design is how close combat battles between spies are resolved. When one attacks another in close quarters, the first player to press a button that randomly appears onscreen instantly kills his opponent, turning close encounters into lightning-fast battles of reflexes (and, perhaps, Internet connection speeds)."
This sounds really stupid to me, I really hope its not true. But I always thought gamespot provided legit info?

Well then, I don't want to go out and buy a 360 because the version is a little bit better. I mean, I would but I dont know how much better it actually is.
Do a lot of people play the XBX version aswell? |
