Default Dual Output

Since the 360 has both component (R/Y/W) and composite (HD R/G/B) outputs, can I play on my hdtv while capturing to a capture card if my computer is right next to my tv? im thinking about lugging my dads laptop upstairs and capturing and editing right there. Hopefully if I can do this because I think It will improve the quality of the captured video.

He is saying the cables from Premium version has both a set of HD cables and a regular AV set of cables on the same cable itself (It branches off like below):
HD AV

Xbox

So, is it possible to hook a capturing device through the AV cables while playing with the HD ones? This would be a direct capture then, from Xbox to converter to PC, taking out any inbetween devices.

Exactly. This would improve video quality. I was just wondering if it was possible.
