I've just cleared the cache and it did help a lot. It's not nearly as slow now. Not quite as fast as it was when I first played it, but tolerable.

Glad to here the cache clearing helped. It has been a while since an Oblivion thread was made, so I can see why Tex had no idea what you were talking about lol.

Yeah I felt slightly dumb, but yeah, delete old saved games too cuz sometimes if you have a ton (yeah, I've saved like 9 different games in the past) then it slows it down a bit.

Yeah good thing you fixed it. I played around with my file this morning and didn't see any slowdown. It's a good thing it was just your cache then.

Seems like Tex is pissed off that she made a stupid mistake and someone pointed it out.


And Scott, this game has always had relatively slow load times for me. Clearing the cache might help.
I guess it did help. Good.
