i need some, were would i go to get alot of lockpicks?

I did have the slelaton key but i gave it away to martin for the main quest thing because he told me to. So i need a place were i can get lockpicks.

if you're in the theives guild you can ask the guy that you can sell stolen goods to and you can buy however much you want for 6 gold each

You can find lockpicks on most goblins, go goblin hunting.

A good source of buying them is available once you get into the Thieves Guild. They have a guy named Ongar who has a stock of 100 lockpicks for sale.

Another seller is located just outside the Imperial City walls near the Stables. From the Stables follow the wall North and you'll find a guy named Shady Sam who sells some lockpicks.

A good way to find them is by looting bandits and checking all the crates/barrels in their caves/lairs. You can also find the occassional lockpick in the crates and barrels dotting the city streets.

You should really load a prievious save, you, by no means, had to give up the skeleton key. Other than that, listen to Mobkey.

There is also a man found near the imperial city. Fast travel to the stables infront of the imperial city. Then hug the wall going in the direction of the stables. Soon you should come across a man who will sell you lockpicks at a good price too.

Screw lockpicks. Get the Skeleton Key:

"Nocturnal:

The shrine is located up the road that leads east out of Leyawiin. On your map, you will notice a backwards looking 'C' and then a 90 degree angle in the road. Once you reach the 90 degree angle, then go to the east and you will find it. You have to be Level 10 to start the quest, and it requires no offering. The reward is possibly the greatest item in the game, an UNBREAKABLE lockpick that boosts your security skill by 40 points. "

*EDIT* just realized that you can't.. heh.

Buy lockpicks from your fences in the theives guild, they always have lockpicks on them, at least 30 (As far as I can tell)

pickpocket certain people i forget who they r called there like the cat people i got 30 picks from this one guy in imperial city when i pick pocketed him even though i got caught buy the guards..

I just buy mine from theives guild fences or loot them from bandits and goblins. As other people have said though you didn't have to give up the skeleton key because there are more Daedric artifacts out there.
