huh yeah another thing kind of required to be pro besides skill is a sponser....you can play all the lans and tournies you want but that doesnt make you pro that makes you amature....i doubt anyone on this thread has a sponser do they? i love how you all want to talk shit and then when i shoot down your logic you just say something about a church having a halo tournie at a lock in.....again all your arugements are weak send me all the messages you want i dont care at all i kind of find it enjoyable everyone can use a good laugh every now and then right? but if you dont want to look like complete idiots why dont you asked the dude that originally posted this thread why he didnt just say good game after he got his ass kicked or if not that how he can talk shit to a team who played the game how its suppose to be played and won.....i dont think ive ever seen any true pro on mlg or any other circuit for that matter talk shit to the other team after they got beat im pretty sure they just shake hands and say good game and take it because they got out played and if you want to keep this thread going with an creditable debate you might want to check out a lot of disscusion of the 1up board of what a pro gamer really is and how they should act

First off, proofread you posts or something. Your writing makes my head hurt.
Second, you've brought alot of this on yourself. There's a difference between trash talking in a post game lobby and going out of your way to send an insulting message to a person. If you pwned Angel so bad then why does it matter if he talked trash to you? For him, the argument stopped there. You continued it and brought about this flame fest. Now you've made the mistake of trying to come onto what basically is Angel's turf and trash talking him to an awful lot of people who are friends with him and have no clue who you are.

Yeah. The Ogres together get .5 mil a year for playing Halo. They're professional gamers. We're not.

However, gamerscore doesn't say anything about you being skilled at games, but winning competitive tournaments does.. so take from that what you want.

i agree a high gs doesnt make you pro im saying he doesnt have any achievements that are hard to get and yeah i know walshy doesnt have any gs....he plays xbox 1....but he is sponsered by mlg he also is increditably skilled and has the class of a pro...no one on this site is pro hit mlg or some other pro circuit until then you can all stop talking shit because you just keep proving yourselfs wrong i dont care who wants to defend angle you can follow whoever you want blindly fine by me that just goes to prove your class and your character the debates over not one person has proved to me or anyone else that they are pro and none of you ever will talk shit after this post shit thats cool not like im going to read any of it because i dont have the time to listen to kids who dream of making it big one day in video games how about next time alls you do is show some class and say good game after you get beat and youll all be one step closer to the pros you wish you were im out

I don’t think anyone is trying to talk shit, no one was arguing and everyone was just making fun of the church thing. So feel free to shoot down everyone’s nonexistent arguments… I won’t stop you.

Also you relate gamerscore to pro status. I don’t care how little gamerscore you have, it doesn’t make you any less of whatever you are. It’s a stupid comparison to make.


P.S: I’m not joking when I say this, I had this giant post waiting to be added to this thread. But I found myself constantly deleting it because I’m actually having trouble following Theo’s logic. Do you know what the term Wall of Text means? It’s freaking hard to establish any kind of discussion or debate when it’s hard to understand the other persons points.

I suggest breaking any long post you make into paragraphs, just so it’s easier to follow. And maybe try writing your post in Microsoft works or something. It will fix any spelling mistakes you have and do a decent job with grammar. I’m not saying it needs to be perfect I’m just saying you should make an attempt at making your posts easier to understand.

No one may be professional gamers here, but if you take the word "pro" as simply being very good, there are many good players here, so yeah... Our team in the Shadowrun beta came in second place, losing only to the MLG team.
