|  No Final Fantasy For Xbox 360
I know a while ago I posted a thread about FFXIII not being exclusive anymore, but it seems that the real meaning of that was lost in translation. This is the newest from what I've seen: Quote: US, June 5, 2007 - Looking for more Final Fantasy following the Xbox 360 port of Final Fantasy XI? Then you're going to have to look to a different next generation system. A Square Enix executive has disclosed to Japan's Nikkei BP that the company currently has no plans for Final Fantasy games on the 360.
Noting that the PS3 is getting Final Fantasy XIII, the website asked Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto if the Wii or Xbox 360 will also be getting games in the series. "For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production," replied Hashimoto. "As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page."
Strong words from Hashimoto, although perhaps if everyone goes out and buys Last Remnant (that includes you!), Square Enix will have a change of heart.

wow...damn u guys. i actually like FF, hours of gameplay and really intense well developed stories.....oh well i see it as a loss, but i\'ll be getting a PS3 now, only for MGS4 and FF =)

For one, the game uses the "White Engine" which has been developed for use on the PS3 and PS3 alone, which means porting might cause a probem, as the PS3 is more powerful than the 360, so who knows if the 360 could even run the White Engine. The engine has been written for one game so far...FFXIII, so to say it wouldn't be an exclusive was kinda fishy.
O well, I would have bought it on PS3 anyways. | |

The FF series has been one of the best overall in game history. But FFXI for the 360 sucked balls IMO; it was about the most boring game that I've ever played. It's too bad though, alot of people probably would've bought FFXIII if it were on the 360.
