Well, there is plenty "I" can do, but if I have to explain what to do to bring these guys down, then it would be like speaking to a wall...

I don't care about the gamerscore part as much, but guys remember what happened with Halo 2, that was one game, this is wide spread, once they start appearing online across all games, its pretty much over.

I understand what you're saying Sheik. When someone brags about their gamerscore I generally feel bad for them because, usually, they've just got their face owned and their gamerscore is their last ditch effort for superiority. So I don't think the actual gamerscore itself is what brings the sense of pride in most people. In contrast, the moment that you get an achievement is great. For instance, I, personally, very rarely actually go into a game thinking about getting an achievement, but when I get them its fun. Basically, I'm trying to say that the individual achievement is greater than the sum of all achievements.

^ im sorry, but u really cant compare that....its the opposite way around i think......cheating for a gamerscore might be illegal by M$ standards and maybe breaking the TOS which means if ur caught ur gonna get banned, NOT GO TO JAIL like tax evasion, so the two are in entirely different categories so i think ur argument has swiss cheese holes, seriously.....but anyway...achievments can be fun i just dont whore for them....there was one specifically that made me feel real good to get...i was playing Aegis Wing with my cousins on live, insane mode, and there is an achievment called UNTOUCHABLE basically dont get hit on the level and u get it, especially it being on insane, it felt really good to get that, i wasnt whoring for it, i just happened to get it, but it felt nice, lol....let them do what they want...but snix...just because what happened in H2, doesnt mean its gonna happen in every game....if u dont want ppl whoring and cheating by all means possible to get ranks and shit....play shadowrun!!! =) thats the genius of having no ranks or leaderboards there is no incentive to cheat....therefore they focus more on the game....but anyway, there will always be hackers, cheaters, modders whatever ....im just gonna keep playing custom games with ppl on my FL and fuck the rest, peace

Is someone flamin' ya Snix? I'm as much for proper spelling and grammar as anyone but there are somethings I have learned to let go when it comes to forums. So long as there is effort and it isn't chat speak, and I can read/understand it, it's fine by me.

Anyways, I told the clerk at the GameStop in town when I went and got GUN and Quake 4 and Bomberman Act Zero about the whole hacking gamerscore thing and he merely shook his head and was like 'I don't understand why you would go to such lengths to get a higher gamerscore.
