|  Game of the Year [2007] Nomination Thread
Here it is, out of no where, The 360 Forum's first Game of the Year award thread!
We will take nominations for the next week, ending on Monday, November 19. This thread is open to all applications, provided that said game came out in the year of 2007.
I thought that the forum needed some sort of activity that involved the whole community, and here it is. After Monday, we will take all nominations, check their validation, and make a voting thread.
Please do not repeat nominations. It will help keep the thread clutter-free.
May I be the first to nominate a game -- BioShock. Released August 21, 2007.

Although it is not out yet im going to choose Rock Band. Sure its not the first music sumulation type game but it brings something new to the plate. Instead of just playing one instrument like the guitar you have multiple options which have not been introduced in a game before. The great set list and the ability to play live with your friends and actually create a band is something thats going to set this game at a very high level for competition this holiday season!

Can you nominate more than 1 game?
Anyways:
Assassin's Creed (Nov. 14th, 2007) - Think they game is going to be amazing and 1 of a kind. The graphics, and architecture of the levels look to be amazing. Plus the control scheme looks to be very unique.
.skate (Sept. 14th, 2007) - Really stepped it up for skating games. Had an amazing control scheme, and great gameplay. I could seriously play it for hours.
Shadowrun (May 29th, 2007) - Honestly, IMO, it is a underrated game. I thought it was amazing and very unique. I have never played a game like it. The loved the whole magic & technology thing. Then the whole race thing made it even better. Just a great game in my book.

I'm going to nominate Halo 3. I'm not doing it because it is my favorite game, but it is deserving simply for its mass appeal and following. No other game matches Halo 3's accomplishments and it will be a long supported title with a dedicated following. The Theatre and Forge are important steps in console FPS evolution. | |

It's not out yet but I'm going to Nominate Mass Effect. This is because the game has so much content and such an epic story. Plus, It's combining active shooting and role playing, which hasn't been done well in a while. It should be a great game. Also, it looks long, which gives it that lasting appeal.

Either H3, Mario Galaxy, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, CoD4, or Rock Band.
