I don't think they're forcing anybody to buy it either. I just think that if they're going to keep one-upping themselves in this console generation, then they're going to end up screwing themselves in the next one.
Sure, more power now sounds good now. But when Sony, Nintendo, and whoever else bring out completely new systems and all you have is an upgraded version of the one you built years ago, then you're gonna lose out. Even if your machine is more powerful than the new ones.

This new 360 sounds awesome with all the new features, but the only problem I have is what the hell is the price going to be. It's not going to be cheap that is for sure and I'm not sure if its worth buying another 360.

Cool I guess. Theres no way I am buying one, I got the premium w/ HDMI, the HD-DVD player, and a wifi thing. Plus my once broken 360 is now waiting in the wings so if my newer one breaks I got one, haha.
Honestly they should have done this awhile ago. They are truely banking on the HD-DVD format, anybody know the latest figures on that battle?
