Creating games with XNA :: HELP! *UPDATED*

OK i downloaded the XNA studio and I'm curious about just fucking around with it and maybe getting something started. Unfortunately i don't know even the basics to making a game. I have everything installed that needs to be (M$ Visual express, the xna game studio etc etc) but i don't know where to start. Hopefully somebody can get me off on the right foot. I know its not something i can learn over night but i would like to get a stepping stone to start with.

For people that need a push in the right direction i found a topic on some forum where they list PLENTY of places to learn coding to create games using XNA. Im going to look around some more and see what i can find. In the mean time hope this helps!

Dude, if someone hooks you up in a pm, send it to me on AIM or something. I have all the necessary XNA stuff somewhere on my computer, but I drew a complete blank when I tried to use it. I know some of the basics of game design (events, triggers, etc.), but I really don't know how to implement them together right. @_@

where do you get all this stuff....is it free, cuz id like to learn how to do this stuff also since i learned it in this camp for flash....i had no cue what i was doing but id like to try it again...

The studio is free but like the membership to upload onto your xbox and stuff is not. But here is a link to get you started!

The thing that pisses me off is i learned how to use visual basics in high school in the computer class i took. We actually had to make a video game but it was something simple like tic tac toe. He gave us code to start with but we have to finish it....Let me do some research and i shall get back to you guys...

Basic isn't really like C#, though there are similarities. There are courses online for learning C, but I've yet to find a really good one.
