counter strike for xbox

why didn't microsoft make counter-strike for xbox supported by xbox 360? It was even a platinum hit..I have it on my computer but I suck at mouse+keyboard

I can't wait for cs source for 360.

P.S.- does anyone know if they will put out a patch for counter-strike that will make it 360 compatible?

i love counter strike! i have it for pc and used to play it all the time. it would rape if it comes out for 360, was such a great game!

Some games where just to hard to make backwards compatible they said. Something with the coding used. But with source coming out im not really to concerned about it.
