Keyboard and Mouse for 360?

SO guys, I was thinking, how many of you would actually like to see MS make a keyboard and mouse that can be used in substitution for your controller. I myself wouldn't mind at least trying it out, I realise the 360 controller is designed specifically for that purpose, but I kno a lot of people work better with a keyboard and mouse. Do you think it would be unfair to other gamers because the other has god-like controls with a keyboard and mouse?

Well obviously a keyboard and mouse will NOT be supported during tournaments and ESPECIALLY MLG events (they don't even allow them right now for Halo2). Unless you're purely an online player, I don't think using a mouse and keyboard would benefit if you were trying to go professional.

But using a mouse and keyboard is easier, generally. I think.

Ya surely it wouldn't be for lan, but I don't see how they could tell for online tourneys, eh? But maybe that's why MS doesn't want them. Or maybe they will make one and other players can tell what you're using, like some sort of icon that says what you're using, like a k&m or controller...

a keybord allready work with the 360 for typeing messages and navigateing the dashbord but i dno if people wanna uae a mouse and stuff then i dnt see y not i dnt think they will benifit as the games gameplay is tweaked for a controller and might b dodgy for mouse and keyboard

True but most people are pc gamers, and I kno a lot of people that work better with a mouse than a thumbstick, their accuracy is amazing.

Hex told me that you could use a USB keyboard on it, but wtf... who would actually want to navigate with a mouse! (to answer your question... you cant.)

There is really no point of making a keyboard/mouse for games on xbox. I think they are gonna try get people to use 360 controllers on pc's(duh wireless 360 pc adapter) I have a feeling "Windows Games" is gonna be some sort of trademark that can and will eventually be put on PC games. With the 360 pc adapter that is announced they will, in my thought, be only for "Windows Games" (maybe programable for older games) And I think that pc games that have the trademark will have presets for the controllers. All in all, my belief is, that MS is trying to make money off the PC gaming industry aswell as console(monopoly what?).

Not saying what they are doing is wrong. I just don't think they will come out with keyboard and mouse. It would make the 360 too much like a pc. Especially when they are gonna make games cross-platform(pc) now.

I have a keyboard hooked up and it's great for typing messages in FFXI (when I played beta) and friend messages. I think the 360 needs an update that makes it compat. with all USB mouses. I would love to play games with my mouse.
Don't just think FPS because games like WoW (don't play but example), FFXI, and PSU benefit from the macros you can set on keyboards. And using a keyboard and controller is messed up IMO. You have to set down the paddle to press buttons sometimes and I'd feel better with key/mouse.

I don't think it would interfere with their plans as a market because multiplatform games would lead to people buying it on their 360 probably because everyone wants those Acheivement points.
