Nice job man. I don't think the center is that bad, it looks like you didn't do it in a computer program so I'd say you did a great job for your first vector.

It looks pretty rape to me. What i mean it is that it looks realistic.

The only thing I'd do with it would be to add a little more shading to the 'petals', right now it seems a little too flat and I think that would really make it pop. But then again you might have been trying to go somewhere else with it.

ps: wow 137 layers and 7+ hours, have you ever considered drawing/painting?
