Halo 3 is going to be 10x better then Halo Wars IMO... Thats just judging on the type of genre each game is... I like FPS games that take both skill and strategy so I hope Halo 3 involves both of these...

My friend brought up a good point today. He doesnt like the idea of Halo Wars because he thinks Halo will become some joke franchises and they will make racing games and such.

Naw, if anything, they'll both be equally hyped. Hopefully, strict FPS fans (Aka, "I play Halo 2 and nothing else"), will take the time to play Halo Wars. I can't wait for either. Meanwhile, GoW looks to bring sexy back into the Xbox (360), among two (or more) handfuls of other games coming out this fall and winter season. | |

You cant really compare the two games together seeing as they are two different kinds of games. But no it will not take any hype away but there not going to be released close to eachother so its not really a factor.
