|  Halo Wars : Macro or Micro?
Well? Which do you think its going to be. I personally think its going to be macro because of the limitations put on the 360 controller, although micro is allways a possiblitity if they "hotkey" the buttons right.
Incase your wondering, micro is individual precise unit control, such as Warcraft and Starcraft, whereas macro is group control, such as LotR BFME 2, where you control squads and basically say attack the enemy.

I'm guessing it's going to be macro as the limits of the 360 controller, and to me I'm thinking this is going to end up being a squad controlled game. | |

My guess is that it will be similar to LOTR. Units like Marines,ODSTs,Grunts, and Jackels will come in squads but bigger units such as Spartans, Elites, Hunters, Invis. Elites, and any type of vehicle like Warthogs, Scorpions, Banshees, Scarabs, and Pelicans will come in as a single unit. The bigger units like Spartans and Elites will probably give some sort of leadership bonus to the marines or grunts if put close to them. I have alot of ideas of how this game will be but yeah, it will be good.

I hope they balance macro and micro. If it turns out to be a game where you do a basic, make building, spam unit, expand, make building, spam unit, attack it would be dumb.
If HW has unit mix, micro and macro it can be great. | |

I picture it to be more like macro like BFME, and if its like that thats fine with me I enjoyed BFME awesome game.
