Cannot figure out pinnicle capture

I have pinnicle, that came with my dazzle 90, and I'm aware that a lot of movie editors who are past their amatuer state use this software.

I go into their capture options, and cannot get my screen to see what the TV sees. I turn on preview, make sure its capturing in S- video. I even tried to capture without a preview but I cannot view the file, because it does not create one.

the AM capture program I have works, but its a bad program for capturing, and Vdub stalls out my computer, I dont really like the software. I would l ike some help with the pinnicle program.

what options do I need to turn on, or what do I need to change in order to capture a video using pinncle. Again I know my capture works, because AM capture can capture video's. everything is properly hooked up. I'm sure of it.

hmmm i have the pinnacle USB 2 pro capture/tv tuner and the pinnacle software, in the media manager you just change it from antenna to svideo, then that was about it, but the quality was horrid, so i only use pinnacle to watch tv on my pc now...my suggestion, get nero 7 ultra, you can find it on the net somewhere

, or try re-installing vdub.
