When you watch a montage, does it matter to you if it's on host or off host? When hosting, I can pull off some lucky shit that I could never do off host, but I feel like I am abusing my advantage. My question is, how good does the clip have to be for it to be okay that you were hosting?

IMO, I really don't care about whether or not it's on-host or off-host. All I care about is that it entertains me. Because that's what a montage is for, entertainment. And if people don't find it entertaining because there's host footage in it, then they should be killed...jk. But yeah, don't matter to me. Use host footage if you can.

I think if you throw in a good balance of both, it'll be alright. I know you probably know this, but don't throw in a bunch of easy single kills on host and call it a montage. Try to use host on fast parts of your song, and then off-host on more steady parts.

I say put everything in your montage. Anyone who is going to watch it and start complaining because they believe some of your clips were only because of host-advantage then they need to get a life.

people who moan about host all the time are a bunch of FUCKING BITCHS who only moan coz there shit and cant evan get good kills like that on there own host, then they like to tel the world how great they are and always play off host on laggy connections and pwn so hard (with no proof) basically everyone who moans about it should die coz they dontmoan about other games haveing host like H2 or w/e

however imo...close quarters shotgun kills off host are definitely more impressive, but man this is for entertainment, im watching to see u blow some heads up......and jam to some good music while i do it....

EDIT : i think the BEST kills are when you are getting double teamed or triple teamed (no homo) and you come out on top (no homo) lol...that happened a few times to me, i had sniper, in the sniper tower on gridlock and these two cogs rushed in with shotguns...i meeled THEM BOTH TO THE FLOOR!! LOL. and i was off host...its not that im that good...they just must have sucked really bad. lol

It has been said a lot in this post and I will also repeat it, a good kill is a good kill. A headshot is the same if its host or not, it does not make it any "easier" to obtain. If you are used to leading a player and hosting, you will not get headshots. I am that player that cannot snipe on-host because I've played so much off-host.

Personally, I just do not care for any shotgunning clips as a host, unless you kill all 3 or 4 within a good 20 second limit.

I recently filmed me killing 4 players sniper, only active reloading. I only kept it because it was within a 30 second time limit and had some skill. Players on this forums have taught me not to put everying in my montage, just clips that are worth to be in one.
