External CC that's compatible with windows Vista x32 and is easy to set up with out any jacks or any shit like that? Price isnt really a concern

Best as in, best quality?
The only thing I can think of would be the ADS pyro, as you can record component video, which is classified as HD. http://www.adstech.com/products/API-...id=API-558-EFS
Other than that I'm not too sure, an internal one would be an intensity from black magic. Records many HD sources for only $250, but you need a nice PC to handle it. http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/

well quality isnt a huge biggy for me, i dont want HD, but i want sumthin thats slightly above average, and i want one where i can buy at Best Buy/Walmart, the biggest thing for the is the easy to use, Dazzle was a bitch so im never buying that again, but i was thinkin along the line of The ATI Tv Wonder Pro Usb 2.0 which is Ex

If that's true, then that's probably your best bet. | |

O and no i dont have fucking 1500-3500 laying around, i just got my first paycheck ever which was 410 and i bought an ipod touch 16gb for 250$ so and i have 160 leftover and by the time i figure out which one i want itll be next payday

Bump for justice.
And explain a little, maybe device manager? It's different in Vista, just start, then for the fast search or w/e it is type in device and the device manager should be in the list somewhere. You can't right click on computer, that won't do it (at least not for me).

VirtualDub lol.
But it semi depends on which cc you have. You got the ATI Tv Wonder Pro USB I'm assuming, so yes, Vdub. I know Blah used that capture card, so you could probably ask him for his setup... he got pretty good quality with it. Better than most people.
Don't forget your compression though. DivX or XviD is what most people use now... XviD is better, but a little harder to get the optimum settings IMO.
