I almost forgot my own :P If I made a montage, I would probably use an older song (60's-70's) classic rock song simply because I don't think I've ever really seen anyone do it (the closest I think was the use of the "Come Sail Away" beginning at the credits), and, well, I like the music. So here's a few songs that I doubt anyone would really think of, but might work well:
"Sympathy for the Devil" - The Rolling Stones
"Paint it Black" - The Rolling Stones
"TNT" - ACDC
"Dirt Deeds (Done Dirt Cheap)" - ACDC
"Kashmir" - Led Zeppelin (would be kind of boring, but it might work in a cut form as an intro)
"The Immigrant Song" - Led Zeppelin
"Live and Let Die" - Paul McCartney & Wings
I used to have others in my head, but they aren't coming right now. Some would work better than others, and some may not work at all. It really depends alot on the editing.
Of course, this is not to say that I wouldn't consider using anything except older songs. There's a ton of modern and modern-ish rock and rap songs that I would love to use. RATM has several songs that could probably fit the bill.
