OK first off i know there is a thread about the movie already but i wanted to make this one to share my opinion.
OK i saw the trailer a few weeks before the release and thought to myself oh boy here is another one of those cookie cutter horror movies all the little 15 year olds are going to see and think it's the greatest movie ever. Well i finally checked out the ratings to see how it was and to my surprise critics and fans have given it a "B-" rating on yahoo. So i thought to myself hey maybe this won't be so bad after all!
So tonight me and my GF went to go see it and i must say i was a little disappointed and let me explain why.....
1.
Every single thing in the movie was so damn predictable! You could always tell what was going to happen and when!
2.
The killers where not frightening at all I'm sorry. I did like the one guys mask but other than that they where all grade A pussy's.
3.
IDK what i was expecting as far as an ending was concerned but i was HIGHLY disappointed. Also not to mention the killers motive for doing these acts was the DUMBEST thing I've ever heard in my life!
The movie was not horrible but i think giving it a B- rating is too much IMO. Maybe a C or C- at most.
Does anyone else feel the same way?

wow idk what movie theather you went to, but everyone in mine was scared shitless and i enjoyed the movie

Terrible movie. Like you said very predictable, killers werent scary, the whole movie just seemed dragged out and got boring after the chick whent back into the house, ending sucked. Oh ya did I mention it wasnt scary. | |

Well, this disappoints me. I'd actually wanted to go see this movie, but I largely trust Chuck's opinions about movies. Oh well, I may see it anyways (it can't be worse than Prom Night @_@)

I mean it's not too bad of a watch if your bored but i wouldn't go out and make plans and get excited over it. Ya know?

It wasn't THAT bad Chuck. Sure, it was predictable and everything, but I think it was put together pretty well. It just didn't deliver as much as everyone thought it would based off the theatrical trailer.
The biggest laugh for me was when the movie ended, and the girls behind me were crying and screaming "LETS GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!" | |
