I dont listen to hip-hop and rap much but i do know enough about it to know that soulja boy is a pussy. It is not hard to make a song like that. He is very fortunate that his song even got recognized at all. To me....soulja boy song sounds more like Pop. The lyrics take as much time to think of as a britney spears song. He should not be talking back....to anyone.

I actually had some level of respect for Kanye, but after reading that bullshit about Soulja Boy being "Hip hop", and equating his skills to Nas's?!?!?!?! What the fuck Kanye!?!?!?! Nas better come out and be like "Whhhhaaaaaaa?!?!?!" You can't touch the Godbodied.... Kanye can suck a dick as well. Like his songs are good anyways? Sorry if some of ya'll like him. But he sucks. And whoever thinks this is the golden age of hip hop doesn't know what hip hop is. Too bad its all about the fucking money these days, its getting ridiculous!
And Solilo, Congress had meetings on Ice T and his songs, Ice T IS a legend. He created the hip hop swagger. People don't fuck with Ice.
Hip Hop died in the 90's, Soulja boy is just helping pour the dirt over the grave.

While I can't stand Soulja Boy, you have to remember that the shit he is making right now... Is the same shit basically that Hip Hop originated on, so you guys don't be too pissed at him. Also, remember that he isn't fuckin Hip Hop, you guys say that he killed Rap, and that isn't even the genre that he's in, so WTF?
I like Kanye a little less now because of what he said about God's Son.. but I agree with him about what he said about this being the golden age of Hip Hop for some random 13 year old.. Lets face it, not too many kids these days are gonna try to get into some legendary shit like L, Nas, Rakim, etc. etc. I'm 15 now, I started listening to all of them when I was 13 or 14, I don't know what made me want to because I used to love shit like Soulja Boy.
And also, I think Ice T did that man wrong, there was no fuckin point of saying it.. If you truely believe Soulja Boy SINGLE-HANDEDLY killed Hip Hop, then you don't need somebody like Ice-T to agree with you.

The shitty thing is that the rappers these kids look up to are the ones they are going to try and emulate in their raps. Its just going to be a vicious cycle of rappers who don't deserve to hold a mic. And I don't think that the shit these days is like the hip hop that started it all to be honest. The hip hop that started it all was socially conscious. Not "Superman that ho" or "Knuck if you buck" or "In My White T's"...
And yeah, I don't NEED Ice T to agree with me, but we NEED someone to point it out that is taken seriously in the hip hop/rap community. And Ice T is a respected member of the Hip Hop community.
