The Absolute Most Random Glitch Ever.

I was doing the Cheydinhal quest about the fines and I was doing the part where you need to get evidence from the main guard by sneaking into his room and stealing the note.

So I go in there, find where it is, and steal it.
I forget to put on my Gray Fox Mask and I do but when I walk out a guard catches me thinking I'm the Gray Fox...blah blah...I resist arrest.

So I find the guy who I have to give the note to and he says the same thing.
I take off the mask and when I talk to him again 2 things happen:
1: I have a bounty of 60 gold (because I stole the note I guess w/o the mask on)
2: When I'm talking to him I notice that I'm not looking directly at him like what always happens when you talk to a person. Instead I'm looking slightly to the left side of his head.

I hit Pay Gold and he gives that speech blah blah.

Then about a 3 minute loading time.

3 Minutes later I'm looking at a bunch of green bumps and slowly more textures appear with my character and HUD nowhere in sight.

The sky appears and I'm thinking, "What the fuck is going on?"
My HUD pops up out of nowhere and I go into 3rd person mode only to find my character is falling.

I quickly go into my menu and I'm right on top of where it says "The West Weald" (right of Bravil).

I exit and continue falling as more objects and textures appear.
Then I land and more than 90% of my heath gets wiped out.

More Trees appear and disappear as I walk around.
Out of nowhere my guy grunts and falls down to the ground and dies.

Now this was the most random glitch I've ever encountered because when it should have transported me to the castle to pay off my fines, I was transported to some place too far from where I should have been.

Later I tried it again but it never worked.
I tried to travel to where I landed but the hill was too steep.

Has anyone ever have something like this happen to them?

Jesus, that sounds like fun LOL! It would be so funny to just see your guy falling into nothingness and then suddenly dieing. lol.

I have never had anything like that happen to me but that sounds fucking crazy haha. The only glitches i encountered is that someone was not placed where they should have been and i have to run off and find them. Like the count of skingrad. He was supposed to be in this cave thing and he dident show up after i rested for like a week straight (game wise) so i went and searched the castle and found him running into a wall...Moron...

Only thing I have even remotely close happen to me in Oblivion was jumping onto the bridge to Arcane University, and falling thru...then beign able to walk thru walls, houses, trees, rocks, everything. Yours sounds more fun though Tanker.

Ive had 2 things happen to me:the first was I told my pirates(one of the downloads) to go out and plunder,right before that i saw two of my pirates fighting,then i only see two out of three leav so I instantle thought one might be dead,so i go looking around after abot 5 min. i see him running in circles next to a cave and a wall.idiot

the second was when i was in my pirate cave I was jumping off of a brige to build up my
acrobatics and the 5 time i jumped i fell through the map and the floor of the map is water so when i fell through I could swim around but shortly after i figured out my guy cant breath under water, so I drank all of my water breathing potions cast all my water breathing spells and scrolls, and I even put on my water walking boots and I still drowned.
I had to start way back and do everything all over again.I save more often now.
