|  Oblivion or Final Fantasy IX
Haven't played FFIX yet so I don't really know but I just like more middle ages type games like Oblivion lol, Age of Empires 2 and there are probably some more out there so even if I played FFIX, I would like Oblivion better. What about you guys? |

Oblivion is set in a western medieval style world where-as FF is set in an eastern fantasy world as opposed to medieval. For MMORPG get FF:XI but for single player supreme goodness go Oblivion.

Even though i <3 Oblivion, i played the beta for FFXI and its awsome how you can play with tons of people on Final Fantasy, its like my dream, only problem is you have to 12 bucks or something like that? a month.

Well the 12$ a month fee is the only thing wrong with FFXI.
And Oblivion is only single player, if I wanted a good single player game I would buy it for the game boy or Gamecube.
Only problem with each of them.

I haven't exactly played both, but I think Oblivion is better because even though FF XI has online multiplayer, I heard u can only use a USB keyboard, which even though it isn't a problem for me (cuz I have one), but it may be a problem for other people. I think that if you want a MMO to play online, just get WoW, cuz I think its better.
