Iced Earth, check them out. Along the same vein as Iron Maiden, Kamelot, Dragonforce, etc. Dark Saga is a kick ass album.

In Flames, not the new Korn-style crap. Jester's Race, Moonshield, Behind Space, etc.

Avenged Sevenfold is laughable at best.

Back on track, it'd never happen but it'd be funny to see the Halo 2 theme on GH2.

actually i think the only Avenged Sevenfold song i like is Unholy confessions... the guitar in that song is fucking cool.

I believe that you have only heard City Of Evil. Please, download, buy, or borrow "Sounding Of The Seventh Trumpet" and "Walking The Fallen" before you judge them. I have checked out their other stuff and wasn't impressed at all. Old stuff wasn't as bad as their new stuff but it is just watered down metal. That song, "Chapter Four," is boring, simplistic, and corny. Sorry, to each his own I guess. I just resent the fact that they are in GH2. I don't care if anyone likes them; it just bothers me when people call them "so heavy" or "so hard." Listen to some more stuff I guess is what I'm trying to say.

i can guarantee you here nobody has ever called or thinks about them being "heavy" or "hard"
