Yeah I read about this on Xbox Domain. I wonder what the punishment will be if Englanders get an American copy or something.
Oh and:
In other news non related to Xbox, Rockstar’s Manhunt 2 was recently hit with a “Adults Only” rating which automatically bans it from Target and Walmart stores. Yesterday Nintendo told
Kotaku that if it keeps it’s “AO” rating the game cannot be released on Nintendo’s Wii. Even Sony said they will not release Manhunt 2 on the Playstation 2.
Manhunt 2 has also been banned from countries like the United Kingdom and Ireland and it’s pretty much being treated like it has the Ebola Virus. Rockstar is calling the game a
“Piece of Art” and feel it’s intended for Mature Audiences and it shouldn’t be AO’d. Today Game Politics.com
Posted that it will probably be released on PC to avoid licensing rules but it would still be a uphill battle to get it in stores.
So why did Manhunt 2 get AO’d? Because the stiffs at the ESRB found the game too offensive(Wii controls anyone?) and they saw the game as a murder simulator as our buddy
Jack Thompson said.
Oh Rockstar it seems that you can never catch a break.
