|  I beat Guitar Hero 2 on Expert!
I didn't know where to put this thread but I just wanted to say I've finally freaking done it. I practiced Hanger 18 (could never get teh star power right) and Institutionalized (timing is a little weird at parts) and finally got 'em. I didn't really have trouble with Misorlou or any of the other ending songs, but those two always made me mad. I finally got 'em, and at the same time as a friend I was in private chat, so we both got into free bird simultaneously and he failed 'cause he thought he could last through the entire solo but I played it safe and SP'd it and it worked. I FINALLY beat expert. Now to practice Jordan for....a year. |

Way to rub it in because as you might have seen some of us less-fortunate people are still trying to beat it.

i know how difficult expert is, it really does feel good when u complete it.
i know when i completed my first hard song (killing in the name, i know im a noob) lol i was so proud of myself, lol. i'll get to expert eventually.

I just got 5*s on all the Hards, well recently, and I'm over half on Expert.

As for Snix. Damn. As for Nick. Lol. As for Solilioquy, it takes time, I'm really not that great at Guitar Hero, not as good as most people I know anyways. But if you practice at the songs you can't get you will eventually be able to pass them every time. My advice, however lousy it is, is that if you are REALLY having trouble getting through a set, go play quick play mode and do all the other songs in the game and just try to get better at them. It worked for me on Institutionalized and Hanger 18. By the way, Freebird's much more of a bitch on expert. Remember, I started on Medium, that's why I never beat easy, even when I first started playing Guitar Hero I hated easy just because of the speed. | |

Congrats man, I would be more happy about not having to be stressed over one song than actually beating the game. I'm on the fourth set on Expert right now, progressing fairly fast.
